VAT

No VAT is payable on any services provided by us. However, to avoid issues with HMRC, we only work with businesses that are registered for VAT and provide their registration numbers. Further, HMRC advise that you're still required to account for VAT with a reverse charge:

You simply credit your VAT account with an amount of output tax, calculated on the full value of the supply you’ve received, and at the same time debit your VAT account with the input tax to which you’re entitled, in accordance with the normal rules.

Are these services worth it?

A study of Google business profiles found that the average business—that is, a business with a good, but not great profile—came up in over 1000 searches a month. If 4% of these converted, that would mean 40 more customers a month.

However, given businesses featured in Google's local pack (near the top of search results) receive 700% more visits, that number could be considerably higher.

For businesses that don't appear in the first 10 or so search results, reaching there may not be possible in one month. But higher rankings could still mean a significant increase in business.
